Armed and Unarmed Security

DPC's Armed Security Officers are trained to DHS Federal Protective Services (FPS) standards. All officers are certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED and qualify semi-annually with their issued .40/9mm caliber semi-automatic firearm or client required weapon and annually with an expandable baton and OC spray. DPC employs full-time trainers to meet and training and certification standards and uses the company integrated technology to track individual officer’s certification requirements.

The colors of the uniform, patch design, badge, duty hat, shoes, web gear, etc., are client specific. All DPC officers are provided a full set of multiple and seasonal uniforms at no charge to the officer.DPC has the capability to manage and operate the physical, mechanical and electronic/IT systems used to control access to installations, areas, and facilities. The access control system administration is performed by a certified technician. DPC Officers control building access with the aid of magnetometers and x-ray screening, enforce badging and conduct random interior security screenings.

Systems Technician

DPC maintains and installs as needed, electronic security systems (ESS) to include all components associated with the intrusion detection system (IDS), closed circuit television, access control system, electronic locking devices, bollards and other security barriers, audio alarms, x-ray screening systems, magnetometers and all equipment associated with two-way radio operations.

Badging Technician

DPC has the capability to manage and operate ID systems used to identify and issue PIV credentials and or access badges to employees, contractors, and visitors. These databases include the Client Identity Management and Account Exchange (IdMAX) system, the Card Management System (CMS) and the Lenel Access Control system. The records contained in these databases are transparent and available for review by the client or other designated official appointed by the client.
